Andrew A. HOLMES, farmer, Sec. 7; P.O. Abingdon; born Aug. 18, 1834, in Monroe Co., W.Va.; in 1858 came to Jefferson Co.; owns 105 acres.

Married Priscilla GREGG in Sept., 1865; she was born Dec. 25, 1840, Guernsey Co., Ohio; have three children: Anna E., Edgar G. and Pearl.

Enlisted in 1862 in Co. D, 19th IVI; served to the end of the war.....
