Funeral of Mrs. Martha HOLMES held at the Christian Church at Batavia Thursday... 82 years old and spent most of her life in Jefferson County, having lived on the same farm north of Batavia for over 50 years.

Survived by one daughter, Mrs. D. W. CLARK of Batavia, one sister, Mrs. Henry DAGGEY of Baird, Nebr., 5 grandchildren, 11 grgrchn, and one grgrgrchild, also a nephew Lue KEITH who has made his home with the deceased more than 30 years. She died at the home of her granddaughter Mrs. Charley MORRISON... Batavia Cemetery.
