SCOTTON celebrating 93rd birthday

Leo "Red" SCOTTON of Fairfield will be celebrating his 93rd birthday Friday.

To help him celebrate, a card shower and a fall luncheon are planned.

The luncheon for family and friends will be 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday at the Lockridge Community Center. Dinner will be provided.

Cards for Mr. SCOTTON can be mailed to his daughter's address: PO Box 715, Mt. Pleasant, 52641.

Mr. SCOTTON was born Oct. 5, 1925, in Missouri. He has retired from Farmall in Rock Island, Illinois. He has lived in the Fairfield community for several years. He works year-round providing industrial recycling and cleanup.
