Card shower set for BOESE's 85th birthday

Clinton BOESE of Pella will be turning 85 years old Sept. 30.

Mr. BOESE's family is planning a card shower to help him celebrate. Cards can be sent to him at 1007 Lincoln St., Pella 50219.

Mr. BOESE was born Sept. 30, 1933, in Wayland. He was a lifelong farmer. He retired from Pella Nursery in Pella.

He and his wife Linda have two daughters: Sarah COTTINGTON and husband Dave of Pella and Mary Ann O'HALLORAN and husband Jim of Pella; and five grandchildren.
