REUNION

WAGLER Family

STOCKPORT -- As the weather cooled off a bit, the first arrivals at Morris Park, Van Buren County, began arriving. It was a small group this year, but lots of folks came out for the chili dump on Saturday. Miles WAGLER pulled off a first by bringing a covered hammock and spending the night rocking and swinging away. Betty Carol WALLMAN held a "Guess the candy pumpkins" in a jar full of candy corn. On Sunday morning, the drawing was held and 4-year-old Kailand WILLIAMS, son of Desmond and Kelly WAGLER WILLIAMS, won the candy along with a new $5 bill.

Saturday night, the group was not sure if they would hold their WAGLER Program, but with the help of the kids and Jeannette RICHARDSON, it turned out perfectly. Russell KLENK played drums on a bucket and cardboard box and then he and Jace DEAN tooted their horns, using mini marshmallow pipes. Kiera WAGLER showed her prowess on the violin. Mark WAGLER, Chase KLENK and Gary WAGLER took the stage and sang Uncle Gal's WAGLER Dringking Song in memory of him.

Campers included: Jeannette RICHARDSON, Sperry; Mark and Pam WAGLER, Fort Madison; Rob, Darla and "Bella" CHADDOCK; Betty Carol WALLMAN, Chase, Stephanie, Russell and "George" KLENK, Yarmouth; Gary and Leanna WAGLER; Kelly WAGLER, Kailand WILLIAMS and Kiera WAGLER, Burlington; Miles WAGLER, Altoona.

Drop-ins for the weekend were: Gene and Gladys, Oberman; Candy and Trace DEAN; Desmond WILLIAMS, Kirstie, Nate and Erin WAGLER, Mike RICE, Emily CHADDOCK and "Frankie," Burlington; Jenna and Olivia WAGLER, Altoona; Jim and Deanne GRABER, Eldridge; Hillary, Wesley and Ethan MILO, Betty WAGLER, Bettendorf; Dave THROCKMORTON, Dave POGGEMILLER, Keosauqua; Dave and Doris VAN ALST and Joe and Mell HECKLETHORN, Stockport.
