Adoptions from April 1913- 1920

I am trying to trace my Grandfather's biological family history. He was born in Iowa (we believe it was Carroll) in April 1913. We know he was adopted by Herbert D. and Dora Millett in Jefferson, Greene.
he died in Sweetwater Tx. 1989.

Admin. note: Jefferson is in Greene County, Iowa, and is over 100 miles northwest of Jefferson County. Searching should therefore take place in that county, as lookups in State and Federal census records between 1915 and 1930 put the family there.
