Frances CANTWELL of Fairfield will celebrate her 102nd birthday Monday.
A card shower is planned to help her celebrate. Cards can be sent to Mrs. CANTWELL at 406 E. Burlington Ave., Fairfield 52556. No gifts are requested.
Mrs. CANTWELL was born Feb. 8, 1914, in Seale, Alabama.
She is a retired librarian. She worked in libraries at Bennington College in Vermont, Louisiana State University in Louisiana and the University of Arkansas at Little Rock.
Mrs. CANTWELL has two daughters, Edna KIRBACH and husband Mark of Fairfield, and Mary CANTWELL of Little Rock, Arkansas. She also has two grandchildren. She was married to the late Leon CANTWELL.
