BENJAMIN HANSON, born in England 3 June 1831, son of Thomas and Mary Hanson, also natives of that country, where the father learned and followed the weaver's trade.....16 May 1868 Mr. Hanson married Miss Lilly Hopkirk, daughter of William and Jane (Redpath) Hopkirk; one chilld, Mary J., now the wife of George W. Unkrich, merchant of Fairfield, with whom Mrs. Hanson now resides, their home being at 401 West Washington Street.
