FAMILY DINNER AT HILDEBRANDS.

A family dinner at the O. H. HILDEBRAND home, 306 E. Burlington, Sunday noon honored the birthday of HILDEBRAND and the baptism of Scott Allen VanNESS, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ron VanNESS. Scott Allen was baptized at the 10:15 a.m. services of Immanuel Lutheran church..... Attending the noon meal from out-of-town were the maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Willis HILDEBRAND, Mona and Larry of Wayland; Mr. and Mrs. Everett HILDEBRAND, Gary, Juanita and granddaughter, Cheryle HILDEBRAND of New London. Present from Fairfield were the paternal grandmother, Mrs. Clarence VanNESS; his great-grandmother, Mrs. Maude LEE; Mr. and Mrs. Clyde THOMAS, Mr. and Mrs. Richard HISEL, Cathy, Lois, Rhonda and Sherri; and Mr. and Mrs. Ron VanNESS and Scott. The HILDEBRANDs are the infant's great-grandparents. Evening callers were Mr. and Mrs. Ron HILDEBRAND of New London.

Compiler's Note: Scott Allen VanNESS is an eighth generation descendant of Alexander KIRK, who came to Jefferson County in 1836.
