Nelson STAFFORD, who came in from Nebraska a few weeks ago to attend his regimental reunion at Washington last week, was in town Monday to see his brother Henry, about moving their father, mother, brother, and a sister's child from the private burying ground on the old place near Germanville, to the Lower Richwoods Cemetery. They expected to move them Tuesday. The father had been buried there about 50 years. Peter Diers owns the farm and they were also giving him a deed to the half acre which had been reserved as a private burying ground.

*Transcribed for genealogy purposes; I am not related to the person(s) mentioned.

Note: The Father, Mother, and Brother referred to are James STAFFORD, his wife Susan HANAWALT STAFFORD, and their son Stephen. The sister's child is likely buried without a gravestone, and a cursory search of the county records I have on hand does not reveal the child's name.
