CARTER REUNION

The families of the late Frank and Lena CARTER CLARK hosted a reunion of descendants of the late John and Bertha SYFERT CARTER July 25 at the American Legion Hall in Stockport.

Among the 75 relatives and friends attending from Fairfield were Maxine TEDROW, Harry and Marie CLARK, Vickie TILLIS with Kendra, Diane BEEMAN and Jesus RIOS, and Leroy and Renee LETTS with Rochelle.

Attending from area towns were Richard FOREMAN and Joyce MILLER of Batavia; Connie WALLACE, Steve WALLACE and Stephanie COFFIN with Alex and Sophie of Richland; Donald WALLACE Jr., Ronald WALLACE with Chey, Scott and Sheila HAWKINS with Brittany, Destiny, Stephan and Dylan, Danny and Sharon NELSON, all of Lockridge; Dorothy CARTER of Mount Pleasant; Mabel CARTER, Harold and Carol CARTER, Deanne CARTER and Roger HASTINGS of Keosauqua; Betty WALLACE and James ANDERSON with Zoe, Frank and Lori NELSON with Elizabeth, Tim, Ryan and Gloria, all of Stockport; Gene and Linda CARTER, Gale and Marie CARTER with Cindy, Nick and Terri REINIER with Hannah and Kelly CARTER of Hillsboro; and Helen NELSON, Wendall and Deb DOROTHY, Tyler COOK and Michaele CARTER of Birmingham.

Attending from around the state were Marvin and Peggy CRABLE and Lori BROWN of Davenport; Billy and Marcella PREVO, Tammy TUTTLE and Robert RYSDAM, all of Bloomfield; Floyd and Shirley PENDER of Victor, Mary Lou and Larry MOFFETT of Leon; Jerry and Janet RILEY of Des Moines; Larry and Bard PENDER of Burlington; and Misti NOVAK of Mount Union.

Attending from out of state were Leo and Pat PENDER of Silvis, Ill.

The 2011 reunion is set for July 24 and will be hosted by the families of the late Phil and Velma CARTER PENDER.
