RIPPEYs to celebrate 60th wedding anniversary

James and Helen RIPPEY of Fairfield will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary Friday.

James RIPPEY and Helen WILLIAMS were married at the Rabbit Ridge Gospel Tabernacle Church on July 30, 1950.

The RIPPEYs are the parents of two daughters and two sons: Betty and Bobby ZEAGLER of Texas, Barbara and Gordon PILCHER of Fairfield, Russell and Ruth RIPPEY of Libertyville, and Larry and Cindy RIPPEY of Fairfield. They have 11 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Mr. RIPPEY is a retired employee of Fairfield Livestock. Mrs. RIPPEY is a retired employee of Harper Brush and did yard mowing for 10 years.

A dinner planned with family is scheduled after their anniversary.
