PACKWOOD -- Dr. C. T. Moorman recently received a copy of the Seattle Post-Intelligencer containing a report of the celebration of the 51st wedding anniversary of Capt. and Mrs. M.W. FORREST of Chehalis, Wash. It took place at the home of their daughter, Mrs. Mary E. LUEDINGHOUSE, at Dryad. Their golden wedding anniversary was celebrated at the home of their son, J.T. FORREST, professor of Mathematics in the State Normal School at Bellingham. Excellent pictures of Capt. and Mrs. FORREST accompany the article. So natural and life-like are they that one involuntarily makes a movement to shake hands with the shadows of these good people who ought to be here yet.
