Death of Thos. Galbreath

Galbreath, Thomas Lewis

Our community was shocked to hear of the death on Monday of Thomas L. Galbreath, living fourteen miles south of town. Although his health has been poor for some time, still his death came quite unexpected as he was only seriously ill from about 6 o'clock Sunday evening until 4:38 p.m. Monday, his death being caused by the bursting of an abdominal blood vessel.

The funeral was held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the home, Rev. McDonald of Hettinger officiating, and the body was brought to town and went east to Colfax, Iowa, for burial and was accompanied by Mrs. Galbreath and son, Carrol. A married daughter, Mrs. Jay Clauson, of Forsythe, Montana, came down to attend the funeral and will remain until the return of her mother from the east.
