Little Henry Short, the 9-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Alec Short, whose loss of an arm was chronicled in the DAILY NEWS yesterday, died this morning at 3 o’clock. He failed to recover from the shock of the operation, which followed the mangling of the arm and shoulder. The accident itself was a terrible thing and the subsequent death makes it a most sad affair and the sympathy of neighbors and friends goes out to the family in their sorrow.
