Griffin Raffenberg, who lived six miles northwest of the city, dropped dead this morning. Heart failure was the cause. He was 72 years of age and leaves a wife and three children. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, Tuesday, October 24, 1905, Page 1, Column 2
