JEFFERSON CITY, Mo. -- Funeral services for Dorothy Lee Scott, 57, of Jefferson City, Mo., a former resident of Newton, were held Monday, Aug. 7, at the St. Peters Catholic Church in Jefferson City.

She died Friday, Aug. 4, at Memorial Community Hospital in Jefferson City.

Mrs. Scott was born Feb. 8, 1932 at Jefferson City to Paul J. and Bertha Pirner Oidtmann. She married Richard Scott June 9, 1950 at Jefferson City.

She is survived by her mother, husband, one son, one daughter, three brothers, two sisters and three grandchildren.

She worked for 21 years at Newton Auto Parts, returning to Jefferson City in 1985.

Arrangements were made by Buescher Memorial Home in Jefferson City.
