Josie M. Patterson, 96, a resident of Newton for five years, died Tuesday evening, April 4, at the Embassy Manor where she had resided for four years.

Funeral services for Mrs. Patterson, mother of Walter H. Patterson of Newton, will be held in Bloomfield.

Reese Funeral Home is handling Newton arrangements.
