Former Resident Dies at Moline; Rites Tomorrow
Mrs. Anna Amos Willman, 78, a former resident of Newton passed away at 3:30 o'clock Saturday morning at her home in Moline, Ill.
Funeral services will be held at 10 o'clock Tuesday morning at the Esterdale Funeral Home in Moline. Following the services in Moline, the body will be brought to Newton where graveside rites will be conducted at three o'clock Tuesday afternoon at the Newton Union cemetery.
Mrs. Willman is survived by her husband; two stepsons, Vern J., at home and Howard of Elmhurst, Ill.; a grandson, Tom Willman of Elmhurst, Ill.; one stepsister, Gertrude Parish of Lamoni, Ia.; and two half-brothers, Frank Needham on Montrose, Col., and Alfred C. Needham of For Worth, Tex.; one stepdaughter preceded her in death.
The daughter of Barney and Dinah Amos, she was born in Newton Dec 24, 1870. In 1902 she moved with her family to Moline, Ill., where she resided until her death. She was married to G. E. Willman of Moline, Feb. 23, 1918. ~ The Newton Daily News, December 19, 1949.
