Joseph Damerval

Joseph Damerval, 59, of Nelson Manor, died Wednesday morning at Skiff Memorial Hospital.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Wallace Funeral Home.

Lt. Kathryn Francis of the Salvation Army Citadel will conduct services. Burial will be in the Colfax Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Wallace Funeral Home after 3 p.m. today.

Survivors are a borther, Floyd, of Waterloo and a sister, Mrs. William (Betty) Lindaman of Cedar Falls.

He was preceded in death by his parents, step-mother, Sarah Trotter Damerval, a brother, Emil Damerval and three sisters, Leona Meyer, Frances Thiele and Lucille Osborn.

Mr. Damerval was a member of the Salvation Army.

He sold newspapers in Newton for many years.

The son of Floyd and Sadit Pratt Damerval, he was born Oct 27, 1923 in Colfax and attended school in Severs.
