Audrey Hall Dies Monday, Rites Thursday
Colfax – Mrs. James W. (Audrey Laura) Hall, 85, a lifelong resident of the Goddard community, died Monday at Des Moines General Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday at Walters Funeral Home in Colfax.
The Rev. Gaylon Decious, pastor of the Colfax Christian Church, will officiate. Burial will be in McKeever Cemetery, north of Colfax.
Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Harold (Faye) Holtz of Des Moines; three grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Mrs. Bessie Zeck of Crescent City, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband Oct. 10, 1952.
Mrs. Hall was a member of the Ira Christian Church.
The daughter of George and Elizabeth Harter Pierce, she was born June 7, 1885, at Colfax.
She was married to James W. Hall Dec. 19, 1906 in Des Moines.
