PRAIRIE CITY - Darryl Franklin Seim, 65, of Prairie City died Thursday, Aug. 21, at Clearview Manor in Prairie City. Memorial services will be held Sunday at 3:30 p.m. at the Vandalia Church of Christ with Marvin Ingle officiating. Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City is handling arrangements.

The body was donated to the University of Iowa School of Medicine.

The son of Knudt O. and Dorothy Muriel Kersey Seim, he was born July 22, 1938, in Marshalltown. He married Norma Hanawalt. He worked as a custodian of New Oaks Care Center and was retired.

Survivors include his wife.
