MESA, Ariz. - Bill Dwayne Gray, 51, of Mesa, Ariz., formerly of Newton, died of lung cancer Wednesday, Aug. 13, in Tucson, Ariz.
A memorial service will be held Tuesday at 5 p.m. at Melcher's Chapel of Roses, 43 S. Stapley Drive, Mesa, Ariz. 85204. The family requests no flowers. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
The son of Dwayne and Addie Gray, he was born Dec. 9, 1951, in Newton. He graduated from Newton Senior High School in 1970 and was a graduate of DMACC. He retired from GM Proving Grounds after 22 years. He enjoyed boating.
Survivors include Dr. Arlynn Eisner, longtime companion; a sister, Lana Gray Everett of Bouse, Ariz.; his mother, Addie Gray of Hemet, Calif. and aunts, uncles, nephews and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
