PALM SPRINGS, Calif. – Faber H. Cripps, 82, of Palm Springs, Calif., died Aug. 4 in Palm Springs.
Mr. Cripps was born April 28, 1921, in Fort Dodge, the son of Harold Glenn and Mwynwen Margaret Williams Cripps. He worked for Maytag Company for 38 years and served in the Army Air Corps from 1942 until 1945. He was a member of the United Methodist Church and the American Legion, both in Palm Springs, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks in Willmar, Minn., and the Masons in Newton. He also was a member of the 91st Bomb Group Memorial Association and served as a volunteer at the Palm Springs Air Museum.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Faith (Jones) Cripps, of Palm Springs, Calif., formerly of Colfax; two daughters, Mary E. of Grand Forks, Md., and JoEllen of Seattle, Wash.; a sister, Carol Rierson of Edina, Minn.; a brother, Walter H. Cripps Sr., of Palisade, Minn; and two grandsons.
Memorial donations may be made to the United Methodist Church of Palm Springs, Calif.
