Connie L. Beaderstadt, 55, of 1488 E. 60th St. N. died Friday, July 8, at her home in Newton.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton with Pastor Roy Cupples of Fullerton, Neb., officiating. Burial will be at Newton Union Cemetery in Newton.

Friends may call today at the funeral home where the family will be present from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials will be accepted in her name and may be left at the funeral home.

The daughter of John R. and Mabel L. Handeland Crabtree, she was born Oct. 5, 1947, in Phillips, Wis. She was a 1965 graduate of Newton Senior High School. On April 21, 1995, she married Kenneth R. Beaderstadt at Ashton Chapel. She retired in 2003 from the Maytag Plant II office as a buyer-planner after 28 years. She was a member of the Women of the Moose.

Survivors include her husband; two daughters and a son-in-law, Angie Hansen and Wendy and Pete Jenkins, all of Newton; two step-sons and daughters-in-law, Mike and Georgia Beaderstadt of Davenport and Matt and Mindy Beaderstadt of Newton; two step-daughters and son-in-law, Teresa Hoffman of Urbandale and Laura and Mike Castings of Newton; 17 grandchildren; a twin sister and her husband, Carol and Paul Johnson of Newton; a brother and sister-in-law, Bill and Evelyn Crabtree of Des Moines; a step-sister and her husband, Louise and Ora Seals of Newton; three step-brothers and their wives, Roy and Fran Cupples of Fullerton, Neb., Tom Cupples of Knoxville, and Herman and Connie Cupples of Newton; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jim Crabtree.
