PELLA - Evalena Vander Zyl-Graham, 69, of Pella, formerly of Monroe, died Saturday, June 14, at Pella Regional Health Center in Pella.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the Third Reformed Church in Pella. Burial will be at Oakwood Cemetery in Pella. Garden Chapel Funeral Home in Pella is handling arrangements.

Friends may call today after 5 p.m. at the funeral home where the family will be available from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Memorials will be accepted to the Alpha Ministry of the Third Reformed Church in Pella.

The daughter of Albert and Nellie (Goemaat) Olivier, she was born June 20,1933, west of Monroe. On Aug. 27, 1995, she married Thomas Graham. She was a secretary at the Newton Correctional Facility for five years and previously worked for Van Gorp Insurers for many years. She enjoyed playing the organ for the Knoxville Disciples of Christ Church for 18 years. Mrs. Graham lived most of her life in the Pella area.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Steven "Radar" Vander Zyl of Pella; three sisters, Johanna Slykhuis and Mattie Bogaards, both of Pella, and Junella Potter of Michigan; one brother, Willard Olivier of Michigan; three step-sons, Mark Graham of Tampa, Fla., Gary Graham and Clifford Graham, both of California; one step-daughter, Kelsie Graham of Oskaloosa; and three step grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Abraham Olivier; and two sisters, Helena Olivier and Albertha Olivier.
