PRAIRIE CITY - Hilda M, Neely, 91, of Prairie City died Tuesday, June 10, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton.

Funeral services will be held Thursday at 10 a.m. at Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Prairie City with Chaplain Merle Smith officiating. Burial will be at Waveland Cemetery in Prairie City.

Friends may call after 2 p.m. today at the funeral home where the family will be available from 7 to 8 p.m. Memorials will be accepted to Hospice of Jasper County.

The daughter of Lytle and Alforetta (Botsford) Edwards, she was born March 20, 1912, in Bancroft, S.D. She graduated from Monroe High School in 1932. On Dec. 18, 1937, she married Marvin Neely in Unionville, Mo: She was a partner of Neely Construction Company.

Survivors include three daughters, Norma Cramer of Prairie City, Aida and Leon Bos of Runnells, Sandy and Fermin Gonzaba of San Antonio, Texas; and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Melvin; her husband; four brothers and two sisters.
