COLFAX - Jon William Lloyd, 9, of Colfax died on Wednesday, May 28, at Blank Children's Hospital in Des Moines, as a result of injuries received in an accident.

Funeral services will be held on Monday at 2 p.m. at the Howard Street Christian Church in Colfax. Burial will be in the Colfax Cemetery.

Visitation will be on Sunday from noon until 9 p.m. at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax. Memorials will be accepted to the Jon William Lloyd Memorial Fund.

The son of Jon T. Lloyd and Tabitha Buckroyd, he was born May 27, 1994, in Des Moines. He was in the third grade at Colfax-Mingo Elementary School. He enjoyed fishing, riding bikes and listening to CDs with his friends.

Survivors include his parents; a brother, Jon Walter of Des Moines; two sisters, Cheyenne and Bonnie of Colfax; a niece; and many friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Jack Lloyd; grandmother, Bonnie Richards; and another grandfather, John William Buckroyd.
