Paul G. Blanchard, 59, of 1400 E. 12th St. N. died Monday, May 5, at his home.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Newton with Father Phil Cardenzana, pastoral vicar, officiating. Burial will be Friday at 10:30 a.m. at Elmwood-St. Joseph Cemetery in Mason City. Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton is handling arrangements.

Friends may call Wednesday at the funeral home where the family will be available from 6 to 8 p.m. Memorials will be accepted to the Sacred Heart Catholic Church or to Hospice of Jasper County and may be left at the church the day of the service or may be left at the funeral home.
