MINGO — Keith F. Tiffany, 60 of Mingo died Sunday, Oct. 2, 2005, in the Monarch Wing of Skiff Medical Center in Newton.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday at 10 a.m. at the Mingo United Methodist Church. Burial will take place in the Ashton Chapel Cemetery. Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax is handling arrangements.

Visitation will be held today from 2 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home in Colfax. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Iowa A.L.S. Chapter or Hospice of Jasper County.

The son of Arthur and Betty (Crabb) Tiffany, he was born June 22, 1945, in Collins. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. On May 10, 1967, he married Carolyn Epps.

He was a truck driver for many years and had been employed by Iowa Industrial Erectors Corporation for the past 15 years as a crane operator and mechanic. He was a member of the American Legion Post No. 534 and Operating Engineers Local No. 147. He enjoyed woodworking, camping and boating.

Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Judi (Matt) Keeling of Newton, Janet (Dave Jessen) Tiffany of Baxter, and Jill Thomas of Altoona; nine grandchildren; his mother; a sister, Glenda (Larry) Barr; two brothers, David "Butch" Tiffany and Terry (Rita) Tiffany.

He was preceded in death by his father and two brothers, Paul and Gary.
