REASNOR — Nancy Kaye Mackerman, 58, of Reasnor died Sunday, Oct. 2, 2005, in the Monarch Wing of Skiff Medical Center in Newton.

Memorial services will be Wednesday at 11 a.m. at Pence-Reese Funeral Home in Newton. Burial will be at a later date.

Friends may visit with the family at a lunch following the services at the Tribute Center of the funeral home. Memorials will be accepted to Hospice of Jasper County or Reasnor United Methodist Church.

The daughter of Donald and Colleen (Harbor) Manley, she was born Aug. 4, 1947, in Newton. She graduated from Newton Senior High School in 1965. On Feb. 2, 1968, she married Richard Mackerman in Newton. She worked as a post office clerk at the Reasnor Post Office. She enjoyed crafting.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Chad (Angie) Mackerman of Underwood; a daughter, Kristin (Chris) Decker of Indianola; five grandchildren; five sisters, Kathleen (Lyle) Thurman of Gilbert, Ariz., Jayne (Mancil Laidig) McKeever of Pleasant Hill; Susan (Randy Cooley) Manley of Marshalltown, Rebecca (Tony) Farver of Newton and Mary Jean Manley of Monroe; a brother, Ronald (Reneé) Manley of Newton.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Mike Manley.
