Teresa Dawn Leach, 38, of 1800 S. 4th Ave. W. died of heart failure Sunday, April 20, at The Abbey in Des Moines.

Graveside services will be held Wednesday at 1:30 p.m. at Our Silent City Cemetery in Kellogg with Pastor A. B. Sudbrock of the Newton Baptist Temple in Newton officiating. Family and friends will gather at the cemetery prior to the service. Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton is handling arrangements.

Friends may call from 9 a.m. until noon Wednesday at the funeral home, where the family will be available from 11 a.m. until noon. Memorials will be accepted to the American Heart Association and may be left at the funeral home.

The daughter of Larry Samuel and Beverley Mae (Williams) Leach, she was born March 29, 1965, in Grinnell. She was a nurse's aide at Clearview Manor Nursing Home in Prairie City for four years. She enjoyed music, dogs, horses and fishing. She attended the First Assembly of God Church in Newton.

Survivors include her parents; a twin sister, Lisa D. Mikutis of Marshalltown and another sister, Ann M. Leach and friend, Vince Cronbaugh, of Grinnell; a brother and sister-in-law, Larry W. Jr. and Rachel Leach of Newton; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her maternal and paternal grandparents and two aunts.
