The following is regarding the passing away of William L. LeFever is from the Laramie Boomerang of January 10th:

Wm. L. LeFever, a resident of the city since last July, died yesterday at the home of his daughter, Mrs. John A. Davis, Seventh and Park Streets, Friday afternoon. The funeral will be held Saturday afternoon at 2 o’clock from the Davis home, Rev. A. C. Hogbin conducting the services.

Wm. LeFever was born in Manchester, O., Feb. 5, 1831 and died January 9, 1908.

In the fall of 1865 he removed to Monroe, Iowa, where he resided until July 1907.

By profession Mr. LeFever was a photographer. In addition he was county surveyor of Jasper County for four terms. He was also the first mayor of Monroe.

For more than four years ago Mr. LeFever was stricken with paralysis and since that time has been a helpless invalid. Last July, with his wife, he came to Laramie to reside with his son-in-law and daughter, Mr. and Mrs. John Davis, Seventh and Park Streets. He is survived by his wife and three daughters, Mrs. Davis, Mrs. Fannie Bennett, of Okmulgee Indian Ter., and Mrs. Eleanor Foster of Chicago.
