Former Colfax Resident Dies
Colfax, Ia. (Special to The Daily News) – Harry Wilson, over 70 years old, of Melcher, Ia., died Saturday morning at his home in Melcher after a long illness.
Wilson had been a coal miner most of his life, and until 20 years ago had lived in Colfax, where he is well known.
Preceded in death by his wife, Wilson is survived by five sons, Floyd of Des Moines, Tom of Colfax, and three who live in Melcher. He was buried beside his wife in Highland cemetery in Colfax with a graveside ceremony Monday afternoon.
