Former Resident, Mrs. Fred Shaw Dies in Memphis
Tools Chapel (Special to The Daily News) – Relatives of this neighborhood and Monroe have received word of the death of Mrs. Fred Shaw of Memphis, Tenn., on Jan. 23.
Mr. and Mrs. Shaw lived near Tools Chapel a number of years and were members and active workers in that church.
Mrs. Shaw was a sister-in-law of Mrs. George Stine and Mrs. James Marshall of this neighborhood and Mrs. Ray Valentine and Mrs. Mark Valentine in Monroe. She was a niece of Grant Jennings of Prairie City.
Surviving are also are her husband, four daughters, Ruth, Margaret, Lenore and Judith, and one son Fred Jr.
