Bondurant, Ia. - Henry Roush, retired Polk county farmer who would have celebrated his 103rd birthday on Feb. 24, died Fri. morning at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Will Welch, near Bondurant.
The elderly man was a half-brother of Mrs. Lydia Jeffries of Newton and an uncle of Ray M. Roush of Newton.
Had Pneumonia
In failing health for the past six months, his death was caused by pneumonia.
He was born in Hillsboro, O., and had been a resident of Polk county since 1903.
Survivors
Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Welch of Bondurant, Mrs. Anna Barr of Otley and Mrs. Dan Trunnell of Lucas, two sons, Winfield of Redwood Falls, Minn., and Leonard of Arden, Nev., 14 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.
Three half-sisters also survive, one in Newton and two in Ohio. A brother lived to be over 100 and another brother was 96 at the time of his death.
