Mrs. Mary Rogers, 64, died at the Skiff Memorial hospital at 9:10 o'clock Tuesday morning.
Mrs. Rogers, a former Newton resident, came here March 27 to make her home with two sisters, Allie and Edna Matheny. She had been suffering with influenza which developed into pneumonia.
Prior to coming to Newton, she made her home in Cedar Rapids where her husband died last December.
Funeral arrangements were being made this afternoon.
