Reasnor, Ia. - Floyd McCuen, 34, who had been ill with a heart ailment the past six months, died Tuesday morning at 9:20 o'clock at the home of his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Ed McCuen near Reasnor.
Funeral services were to be conducted this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Morgan funeral home with burial in the Palo Alto cemetery.
Mr. McCuen was born in Jasper county Jan. 28, 1907, and had spent most of his life here. Prior to his ill health he was employed at the Caterpillar factory in Peoria, Ill.
He was wed to Lucille DeHoot Dec. 29, 1934.
Surviving are his wife, his parents, and two sisters, Mrs. Phillip Vander Putte and Zola at home.

Funeral services were held Thursday at two o'clock at the Morgan Funeral home for Floyd McCuen, 34, who died Tuesday following an illness of heart disease.
Rev. Paul G. Bauer, pastor of the Lutheran church of Kellogg, conducted the rites. Rev. Bauer also furnished the music, singing “Rock of Ages” and “Abide With Me,” accompanied by Miss Lois Hundling.
Pallbearers were Ivan McCuen, Lloyd Nolin, Roy Nolin, John Nolin, Ivan Bell and Otis Bell. Mrs. Fred Castorf and Mrs. Glen Simons were in charge of the flowers. Interment was made in the Palo Alto cemetery.
Floyd Lem___ McCuen, son of Mr. and Mrs. Ed McCuen, was born in Jasper county, Ia., Jan. 28, 1907. For some years he engaged in farming with his father, and about six years ago went to Peoria, Ill., where he was employed in the Caterpillar tractor factory.
On Dec. 29, 1934, he married Lucille DeHoot.
He is survived by his wife, his parents, and two sisters, Mrs. Phillip Vander Putte and Zola McCuen.
