Carrie Jackson Dies in Kansas
Word has been received here of the death of Miss Carrie B. Jackson, 78, who taught in the Newton public school over 50 years ago.
Miss Jackson and her sister, Kit Jackson Kelly, had been making their home in the Presbyterian church home in Leavenworth, Kan.
She is survived by her sister and by a brother, Charles Jackson of Newton.
While in Newton, Miss Jackson was a member of Chapter A. O. P. E. O., and was quite active in Presbyterian church affairs.
