Former Monroe Woman Dies
Monroe, Ia. (Special to The Daily News) – Mrs. Rose Cowman of Alhambra, Calif., died at a hospital there on Saturday, Dec. 28, following a heart attack suffered the same morning at her home.
She was the widow of the late A. J. Cowman.
Surviving relatives include two sisters, Mrs. Stella Schenck of Long Beach, Calif., and Mrs. Bess Martin of Idaho, also a number of nieces and nephews.
Mr. and Mrs. Oscar Ammer left Tuesday night for the funeral rites at Alhambra. Mrs. Ammer was a niece of Mrs. Cowman.
