Morris B. James, 87, of Newton died of heart failure Wednesday, March 5, at Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown.

Funeral services will be held Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton with Pastor Ed Aubuchon of First Assembly of God Church in Newton officiating. Burial will be at Newton Union Cemetery.

Friends may call after 5 p.m. Friday at the funeral home where the family will greet friends from 6 to 7:30 p.m. Memorials will be accepted to the Iowa Veterans Home in Marshalltown and may be left at the funeral home.
