PERRYVILLE, Ark. – Jack Miles Howe, 68, of Perryville, Ark., formerly of Newton, died Sunday, Feb. 23, in Perryville.

Memorial Services will be held Thursday at Perryville United Methodist Church and Saturday at 10:30 a.m. at Grace United Methodist Church in Dallas Center. Memorials may be made to Heifer Project International, Perryville, or to the Alzheimer's Association.

Prior to moving to Perryville, Mr. Howe was an elementary teacher in the Newton Community School District.

Survivors include his wife Sandie Howe; two sons, Lance Howe and Lindsay Howe of North Carolina; one step-son, Steven Jones of Oppelo, Ark.; two step-daughters, Pam Jones of Perryville, Ark., and Susan DeSalvo of Morrilton, Ark., two brothers, Don Howe of Des Moines, Jerry Howe of Indianola and four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his first wife.
