MT. CARROLL, Ill. - Joyce Ann Ford, 64, of Mt. Carroll, Ill., formerly of Newton, died Tuesday, March 4, at the Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria, Ill.

A memorial visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the Law-Jones Funeral Home in Savanna, Ill. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 8, at the Newton Union Cemetery in Newton.

Memorials will be accepted in her name to the Saint Francis Medical Transplant Center.

The daughter of Raymond and Bernice (Alsup) Haney, she was born Aug. 14, 1938, in Winterset. She married Nelson Dale Ford on April 19, 1956, in Newton. She enjoyed baking chocolate chip cookies, spending time with her grandsons and listening to Elvis Presley music.

Survivors include her husband; a daughter and son-in-law, Cindy and Mike Wollenberg of Carol Stream, Ill.; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Steve and Stephanie Ford of Davenport, David Ford of southern Illinois and Dan and Chris Ford of Fulton, Ill.; 10 grandsons; four brothers and sisters-in-law, Ted and Sherry Haney of Knoxville, Jack and Carolyn Haney of Cedar Rapids, Doug and Cindy Smith of Newton and Roger and Diane Smith of Colfax; three sisters and brothers-in-law, Connie and Ron Rider of Cedar Rapids, Peggy and Ron Smith of Baxter and Patty and Fred Smith of Altoona; one sister-in-law; E.J. Estep of Port Orchard, Wash.; and her stepfather, Oliver Smith of Newton.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
