Hart - At his home in Malaka Township, March 1st, 1881, of asthma and dropsy, Isaac Hart, age 53 years.

The deceased was born in Warren County, Ohio; and was married to Elizabeth Smith, of Scott County, Iowa. He was a member of the Christian Church at Le Claire. His wife and five children survive him.

He was a brother of J. H. Hart, of Malaka, and of Mrs. W. Moyer of this place. His disease was contracted while serving his country during the late war. ~ The Journal, Newton, Iowa 31 Mar 1881.
