Sharon Margaret Seals, 68, of Newton died Friday, Sept. 16, 2005, in the Monarch Wing of Skiff Medical Center in Newton.

Private family services will be held. Burial will be at Palo Alto Cemetery in rural Newton. Pence-Reese Funeral Home in Newton is handling arrangements.

The daughter of Howard and Margaret (Ebert) Wickliff, she was born July 28, 1937, in Newton. She attended Newton schools. On April 5, 1956, she married Robert James Seals in Newton. She later married Clyvon Dacus in May 1973. She was a homemaker and enjoyed cooking and reading.

Survivors include two sons, Mark L. (Kelly) Seals of Reasnor and Eric E. Dacus of Iowa; a daughter, Juli Ann Seals of Davenport; five grandchildren; and two brothers, Gary Wickliff of Reasnor and Dennis Wickliff of Arizona.

She was preceded in death by her parents and both husbands
