Death Claims Frank Roeder
Had Been Resident of This Community For Past 25 Years
Frank Roeder passed away at his home just north of Colfax Monday morning, January 15th, 1922. He had been ill for some time and his death came as a relief to his suffering. He was born near Vainsworth, Ohio, Nov. 11th, 1862, and at the time of his death was 60 years, 2 months and 4 days of age. He had been a resident of Colfax and vicinity for the past twenty-five years.
Mr. Roeder was married to Savannah Rickie, who preceded him in death several years. He leaves three sons, Charles, Harry and Frank, who all reside here, and two brothers, Will and Chris Roeder.
Mr. Roeder was a tinner by trade, and an expert in this line. For a number of years he served in this capacity at the Penquite Hardware store and later at the Forsyth Hardware. He moved to the farm north of town several years ago, where he has since made his home.
Funeral services were conducted from the home Wednesday at 2:30 with Rev. Q. V. Williamson of the Church of Christ officiating. Interment was had at McKeever cemetery.
