Former Resident Dies
Harold Poulson, 58, of Cedar Falls, Iowa, and a former resident of this vicinity, died suddenly of a heart attack Monday morning.
He was the son of the late Mr. and Mrs. George Poulson, who lived north of town where the Foster Garwoods resided and where the Carroll White family now lives. He attended the Union rural School while living here, later moving to Postville with his parents and from there to Cedar Falls where he has since made his home.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 Wednesday morning at the Cedar Falls Funeral Home and graveside rites were conducted at 2:00 p.m. in the McKeever cemetery north of Colfax. Military rites were carried out by members of Jones Willis Post No. 175, American Legion. Mr. Poulson is survived by his wife.
