Death of a Former Citizen
William M. Poulson Died at Scio, Ohio, Aug. 10
William Milton Poulson who was a resident of Colfax some twenty years ago, died at his home in Scio, August 10, and the remains were brought here for interment. He was born in Jasper county, Iowa, April 13, 1852. He was married to Maggie McCuen in 1872 and to that union was born three children, all of whom survive him.
He was married to his present wife in 1896 at Scio, Ohio.
He leaves to mourn his departure his wife, a step-daughter, two brothers and three sisters.
He was a member of the Methodist church at Jewett, Ohio, and was a faithful member until his death.
His brother, Wesley, of Scio, Ohio, accompanied the body to Colfax.
Short services were held at the home of his sister, Mrs. Henry Sharpe on Sunday morning, and his remains were laid to rest in Poweshiek cemetery.
