Wilse Poorbaugh Died In California
Wiles Poorbaugh, 60, a former Colfax resident, died Tuesday, July 19th at the home of his sister, Miss Harriet Poorbaugh at Long Beach, California. He had been in failing health for many years.
He was born in Colfax, Iowa, Dec. 16th, 1877. He graduated from the Colfax High School with the class of 1898 and soon after that left for Eugene, Washington, where he lived until going to California around fifteen years ago.
He never married. His three sisters, Miss Hariett Poorbaugh, and Mrs. Blanche Angel of Long Beach, who are in such ill health they could not attend the funeral, and Mrs. Sam Failor also of California survive.
Funeral services were held at Long Beach with internment there also.

Wilse Poorbaugh Interred at McKeever Cemetery
The ashes of Wilse Poorbaugh were interred Sunday, August 21st at the McKeever cemetery with short graveside services. Mrs. I. F. Harris of Earlham, his sister, having charge of the arrangements.
Mr. Poorbaugh died at his home in Long Beach, California, July 19th after a long illness.
