Joseph Pearson Dies Here at 75
Joseph Pearson, 75, of 1333 E. Ninth St., died at Iowa Methodist Hospital Saturday after a year’s illness.
A native of England, he was a coal miner before retiring, eight years ago. He had lived here 50 years and was a member of the Baptist church.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hamilton’s Funeral Home with burial at McKeever Cemetery at Colfax.
Surviving are one son, Gilbert Pearson, Des Moines; brothers and sisters in England; two grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
